Indian Southern Railway has approved Deepam Hospital to donate wheelchairs & stretcher under CSR activities to the important railways stations .To begin with Dr A. Pandian Managing Director of DeepamHospital gave wheelchairs to the Station master at Tambaram railway Station

As a part of the follow up to assist people affected by the rains, Deepam Hospital conducted a free medical consultation cum medicine distribution camp at Aadu Thotti locality of Saidapet on Sunday, 13th December 2015. The camp which started at 9.15am went on till 1.15pm. Five hundred people were benefitted in this camp where after registration of the patient’s name, their BP was checked by two nurses. After this, a team of 4 doctors were available to consult the patients and prescribe drugs, which was dispensed by 3 nursing staff. In addition to medicines, people were also given free items like biscuits for kids, sanitary napkins for ladies and blankets for the elderly people and children. The senior management of the hospital were present at the camp and helped in distributing the free items

To help people affected by the heavy rains last week, we at Deepam Hospital conducted a camp in the Gandhinagar locality of Sholinganallur in Chennai. Being a slum area, the people living in that area are mostly daily wage labourers and medical facilities are very costly to them. They depend on camps like these to get their health problems resolved. The camp started by 9.30am and went on till 1.30pm. Approximately 225 people were benefitted by this camp

A free medical camp was organised by Deepam Hospitals on 22.11.2015 in the Chinna Malai ( St Thomas Mount )locality of Chennai providing relief to around 175 patients belonging to the low income group of the society who were affected by the recent floods.

Dr G JeyarajDr G Jeyaraj who has over three-and-half decades of experience in Occupational Health in NLC and other Industries will be heading this Department in Our hospital. He is also the Managing Trustee of Occupational Health Foundation.
